Abstract
The mechanism of cold nuclear fusion proceeding via the tritium channel is proposed. The mechanism consists of D 2 + ion formation on dislocation concourses near surfaces of metal. When the dislocation filled with D 2 + ions intersect the metal sample surface deuterons may escape from the metal under the influence of internal stresses accelerating in the process. The reaction between deuterons takes place as the D 2 + ion moves with acceleration in the periodic field of the crystal lattice. At a certain speed, resonant conditions may be achieved which lead to the reaction between the deuterons, a neutron transfers from one deuteron to another creating a proton and a tritium nucleus.
