The thermodynamics of the insertion electrochemistry of solid metal hexacyanometallates

A strict treatment of the thermodynamics of the electrochemical reactions of solid metal hexacyanometallates is given. For the first time the relations between the formal potentials of the insertion electrochemical reactions and their solubility products are reported as well as their relation with structure parameters such as ion potentials and lattice constants. All derived relationships are proved by experimental data published earlier.
