Abstract
For a one-dimensional discrete model of a crystal the form of a moving domain wall in the structure with period multiple of four was derived in the constant amplitude approximation. The energy of the carrying commensurate structure, the width and the energy of the domain wall were expressed in terms of the amplitudes of Fourier harmonics of the carrying commensurate structure. With the use of the result by Ishibashi, the relation between different solutions was established. The applicability and the accuracy of the solutions were tested by comparing them with the numerically obtained exact solutions.
