Abstract
Structurally free graphite is shown to separate in the welded joints of steam lines made from carbon steel 20. The procedure for detecting the graphite and the technology for eliminating it are presented. Here, special attention is given to measures for installing additional supports in the support-and-suspension system of the steam line.
