Abstract
The generalised master equation approach is employed in conjunction with the spin-12 Ising Hamiltonian to formulate different types of diffusion migration equations. The methodology involving Kawasaki dynamics for the transition probabilities is demonstrated for electron hopping between nearest-neighbour redox centres in chemically modified electrodes and the classical Nernst-Planck equation.
