Abstract
The photophysical properties of 1O2 dimol (1Δg)2→(3Σ−g)2 transition have been studied by Nile Blue A (NBA) delayed fluorescence induced by energy transfer from the 1O2 dimol. As a result, a radiative lifetime of (1.2±0.3)×103 s−1 was deduced in CDCl3 through a plot of the intensity ratio between NBA delayed fluorescence and 1O2 dimol as a function of NBA concentration.
