Reply to the comment on ‘Chemical oscillations induced by flow transports’ [Chem. Phys. Lett. 371 (2003) 757]

Using a simple physical model, our recent Letter [Chem. Phys. Lett. 360 (2002) 289] illustrated that oscillatory behavior could be induced by a linear feedback process. These results suggest that chemical reactions may exhibit transient oscillatory phenomena even in the absence of nonlinear feedbacks.
