Abstract
Deposition of latex particles on oppositely charged glass substrate is driven by electrostatic attraction and a monolayer of latex particles covering the surface is achieved. A multilayer is formed by alternating the charge of latex. However, the presence of any free charged components such as emulsifiers and by-products of polymerization, which are not an integral part of latex particles, affects the course of deposition and may prevent deposition altogether.
