Abstract
Single crystals of YbRhIn5 and YbIrIn5 have been grown by flux method. The crystals were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction, magnetic and electrical transport measurements. Both compounds were found to be weak diamagnets with metallic character of the electrical conductivity and the Seebeck coefficient.
