Abstract
It is presented that commercially available holographic plate can be used to generate attractive surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) active silver surface after being exposed, developed and fixed. The surface morphology was observed by atom force microscope (AFM) and the absorption spectrum of obtained holographic plate silver film (HPSF) was recorded by UV–vis spectrometer. With discussing the formation mechanism of HPSF, the influence factors to SERS signal intensity were analyzed. By adjusting and optimizing the exposing and developing processes, a favorable SERS-active silver film with appropriate particle sizes can be obtained.
