Summary le method is proposed to determine the dose absorbed at 1 -mm depth in the derma in conservative treatment of breast carcinoma treated with cobalt 60. The cutaneous dose is estimated from the maximum dose delivered by each of the two (internal and external) tangentiels beams. The cutaneous dose due to the internal beam is 90 % of the maximum dose delivered by this beam and the cutaneous dose due to the external beam is the product of the maximum dose delivered by this beam by the correct percentage depth dose. Validity of the method was checked through in vivo measurements in nine patients.
