Abstract
Addition of (S)-dimethylsulfonium-(p-tolylsulfinyl)methylide to N-tosyl imines afforded the corresponding sulfinyl aziridines with full enantio- and diastereoselectivity. The chiral sulfinyl substituent was removed without ring opening leading to enantiopure 2-substituted aziridines.
