Abstract
Tabulvelutin A (1), the first 19-nor limonoid incorporating a unique 7,10-γ-lactone, together with a biosynthetically related limonoid tabulvelutin B (2) was isolated from the stem bark of Chukrasia tabularis var. velutina. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analysis and chemical computation. The insecticidal activity of compounds 1 and 2 was also assessed.
