  • Abstract
    A concise asymmetric total synthesis of (S)-dapoxetine from commercially available 3-chloropropiophenone is described. The key step includes a highly stereoselective amination of chiral benzylic ether, with the retention of stereochemistry, using chlorosulfonyl isocyanate.
