Abstract
The paper reports the results of FT-IR, NIR and 1H NMR study of N-methylpropionamide in carbontetrachloride solution and in presence of ethers as the O-electron donors: Diehylether (DEE), Diisopropylether (DiPE), Methyl-t-Buthylether (MtBE), Dibutylether (DBE) and Dipenthylether (DPE). The spectroscopic characteristics for N–H...O hydrogen bonded complexes are given. Also, the equilibrium constants for 1:1 complex formation, at 25 °C were determined using IR, NIR and 1H NMR measurements.
