Vapour–liquid equilibria: XIII. The ternary system cyclohexane–methanol–hexane at 303.15 K

Total vapour pressure measurements made by the modified static method for the ternary system cyclohexane–methanol–hexane at 303.15 K are presented. Different expressions for GE suitable for correlation of these data as well as the equation of state incorporating association term are tested; the constituent binary system cyclohexane–methanol, published previously, was also discussed from the point of view of the present measurements for the ternary system. The prediction of ternary VLE from constituent binaries is studied.
