Abstract
Excess molar enthalpies, HmE at 298.15 and 308.15 K and atmospheric pressure were measured for {x1 di-n-butylether+x2 1-propanol+(1−x1−x2) n-decane} and for their corresponding binary mixtures with a Calvet microcalorimeter. The experimental results were compared with those calculated by using the Nitta–Chao and UNIFAC models. Experimental values were also used to test empirical expressions for estimating ternary properties from binary results. Variable-degree polynomials have been fitted to the results.
