Abstract
A differential time of flight technique was tried using two cavity resonators (as timing devices) for the calibration of the energy analyzing magnet of the pelletron accelerator at NSC. This method is unique as it compensates for the intrinsic delays for the detectors used in other TOF experiments. The experimentally measured value of the radius of curvature of the analyzing magnet is 1808 mm which is comparable to the value obtained from the energy calibration by compound nuclear resonance in the 12C (p,p′) reaction.
