Abstract
This document will review the design considerations, implementation and performance of the event visualisation tools used within the L3 experiment at CERN. In view of the increasing complexity of high energy physics experiments, adequate visualisation of both events and detector setups is now a major software issue. Based on past experience this document will underline successful aspects of the existing tools and indicate possible future improvements.
