Time measurement considerations for a double-sided Si strip detector

Timing with the MUST double-sided XY Si microstrip detectors is presented in this paper. This detector measures the energy dE, the arrival time T and the positions X and Y of light charged particles depositing 0.5–30 MeV. Eight MUST double-sided Si strip detectors of this type are currently in use in the GANIL heavy-ion accelerator, France.
