Abstract
A series of Al-Ni-Co alloys in the range between Al73Co27 and Al69Ni31 was studied in splat-cooled, ‘conventionally’ solidified and thermally annealed states. The overall compositional range and the variation of the diffraction properties of the decagonal phase are reported.
