Abstract
Copolymers, in which pyromellitimide units are alternating with poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) fragments of various lengths, have been investigated in their neutral state, at room temperature, by using wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXRD), small angle Xray scattering (SAXS) and small angle neutron scattering (SANS) techniques. Our results show that, depending on the length of included PEO fragment, the chains stacking is driven by either of subunits of the monomer.
