  • Abstract
    Here we report on the synthesis and superconductivity of (NH3)xK3C60. Reaction of stoichiometric amount of potassium and C60 powders in liquid ammonia produces (NH3)xK3C60 (0<x<1), which has a fee structure and is superconducting with the onset temperature of Tc=8.5K. This compound has intermediate superconducting properties between K3C60 and NH3K3C60.
