Abstract
Preparation of polyoctylthiophene gels by oxidative polymerization leads to a gel and a sol fraction. The sol fraction consisting of finite size branched polymers was studied by light scattering and small angle neutron scattering. Our preliminary results are discussed in terms of gelation theory, which would allow us to describe in the end both fractions using the same characteristic length.
