The J-aggregates behavior by mixing system in LB films of merocyanine dyes

The characteristics for J-aggregates behavior by mixing method of dyes LB films has been investigated. To investigate J-aggregates characteristics of dye molecules, mixing method of two types were used. The first was to deposit the monolayer obtained by the mixed solution onto solid substrate (ease1) and the second was to deposit the monolayer obtained by each spreading of dye molecule at the air-water interface onto solid substrate (case2). Furthermore, the deposition state of LB films have been discussed from characterization of the formation of mixed J-aggregates by optical absorption spectra.
