Abstract
The synthesis, electrochemical properties and molecular structure of a new organic donor, (1,4-dioxan-2,3-diyldithio)dihydrotetrathiafulvalene (DODHT), which possesses only one 1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene unit as a π-electron system, has been investigated to explore new organic superconductors. The AsF6 and PF6 salts of DODHT are isostructural, which exhibited superconducting transition under 16.5 kbar.
