  • Abstract
    The aim of this paper is to explore an alternative method for modelling spatiotemporal systems. The approach is based on coupling a local model which takes into account the local aspects (biological layers) and a discrete spatiotemporal one which brings out the spatial aspects (geographical layers) The coupled process is referred to a prediction correction scheme. An application devoted to an ecological system illustrates the efficiency of the proposed scheme.
