Carbon aerogels were prepared by pyrolyzing resorcinol and formaldehyde polycondensates, which were obtained in aerogel form by supercritical drying with carbon dioxide. Polypyrrole was impregnated into the carbon aerogels to prepare the carbon/polypyrrol
