  • Abstract
    In this contribution, recent advances in the theory of laser and, to a lesser extent, of scanning tunneling microscope (STM) induced cleavage of bonds between an adsorbate and a solid surface, will be reviewed. Special emphasis will be given to the quantum dynamics of electronically non-adiabatic reactions.
