A re-examination of Westbrookʹs X-ray diffraction pattern for Cr7C3

Westbrookʹs partially indexed chromium radiation X-ray diffraction pattern for Cr7C3 has been corrected as needed and completely indexed. The pattern corresponds to the orthorhombic modification of Cr7C3. The lattice parameters obtained (a = 7.019 ± 0.010 إ, b = 12.158 ± 0.017 إ, c = 4.526 ± 0.008 إ) are in good agreement with the presently accepted values for this phase.
