“In situ” magnetic modification of polar elastomers

The paper presents the results of the research on the effect of a hard magnetic high coercive force fillers on rubber to filler interaction in polar elastomers based compositions. The changes in Brabender plasticorder curves, temperature characteristics of the process of mixing, equilibrium degree of swelling, bound rubber content and degree of crystallization are discussed. Reassuring evidences for the realization of polar elastomers magnetic modification “in situ” without external magnetic field application are considered.
