Abstract
Nanoscopic magnetic systems are widely studied by both theorists and experimentators due to its future nonordinary applications (e.g. in spintronics). Nowadays the chemists are able to produce nanostructures consisted of a few or dozen magnetic ions arranged in a predicted way. In this paper we study the energy spectrum of nanomagnetic rings. Particularly, we present the structure of the energy spectrum versus total spin E(S) for the finite system N = 6. The spectrum reveals the property of rigid rotor, i.e. the rotational band structure. The energy spectrum was calculated by two methods: the first method—using Bethe Ansatz results, the second one follows from transforming Heisenberg Hamiltonian into the sum of spin squares. The consistence of the exact solutions with the numerical one is discussed.
