Field dependence of transport properties correlated with the giant magnetoresistance

A brief review of the present stage of transport measurements, such as the Hall effect, thermoelectric power and thermal conductivity, on magnetic multilayers and granular alloys exhibiting the giant magnetoresistance effect is presented. The information obtained from the simultaneous measurement of these properties and the magnetoresistance and magnetization is discussed.
