Abstract
Pure and (Co, Ti)-substituted (Ba, Sr)-hexaferrite particles have been prepared by modified coprecipitation and the aerosol synthesis technique. The phase composition of the intermediate products and the crystallization process were investigated by DTA, electron microscopy, vibrating sample magnetometry and Mِssbauer spectroscopy. The transition into the superparamagnetic state for particles about 10 nm in size is investigated.
