Abstract
The aim of present research is survey of entrance rate and industry growth rate on New Firmsʹ Survival for the Electrical and Electronic industries in Mazandaran province in Iran between the years 1981 – 2011. In this study is used analysis of historical data - events and Hazard function to investigate the relationship of above variables on the survival of new firms. Data was collected from the database of Mazandaran industry & mining and commerce organization and winTDA software is used for the data processing.For data analysis is used from The Product limit estimator (Kaplan - Meier) and model life tables. For testing the hypotheses is used Semi-parametric model Cox regression. Based on the results of study, only a meaningful relation between entrance rate to the industry and firm survival has been confirmed. Also relationship between growth rate and survival was not confirmed
