Small-angle scattering studies of silicalite-1 growth from clear solutions

This review summarizes recent small-angle X-ray scattering investigations of the initial stages of zeolite formation and growth. These studies have increased the zeolite science communityʹs understanding of the structures present at the earliest stages of growth, particularly in the case of silicalite-1 formed from so-called ‘clear solution’ syntheses.
