Radiation problems of first wall facilities and their solution with ANSYS code

A calculation technique of radiation heat transfer analysis for first wall (FW) facilities was realized in RDIPE (Russia) within the frame of ansys code. The problems which appear in the process of finite element model creation and in the process of solution are examined in detail. Some computation analysis results for FIWATKA FW facility (KfK, Germany) are presented. The comparison of the experimental and analysed results was carried out and revealed a good agreement.
