  • Abstract
New product introduction is vital to a firmʹs survival and growth. A company needs to develop a process to determine how to find and develop new product ideas, and how to successfully introduce them into the marketplace. To address this problem, this study investigates the design parameters as well as product specifications for product development focusing on the health industry in Istanbul and on professors and associate professors, whose areas of expertise are Nutrition and Dietetics as well as Endocrinology and Metabolism Deficiencies, applying Technology Acceptance Model [1] as a base. Results of this study indicate that doctorsʹ positive attitudes towards using nutrition software depends on usefulness. Ease of use, on the other hand, does not have a significant impact on the decisions to have an intention to use.
