  • Abstract
    An efficient microwave-assisted conversion of ketoximes into amides using Brønsted acidic task-specific ionic liquids, 3-methyl-1-sulfonic acid imidazolium chloride, 3-methyl-1-sulfonic acid imidazolium hydrogen sulfate and 1,3-disulfonic acid imidazolium chloride via the Beckmann rearrangement is described. This method offers significant advantages such as efficiency, solvent-free and mild reaction conditions with shorter reaction times.
