  • Abstract
    [MeC(OH)2]+ClO4- as a super acidic ionic liquid is found to be a highly efficient catalyst in the synthesis of pyrazolo[1,2-a][1,2,4]triazole-1,3-diones derivatives via three-component condensation of aromatic aldehyde, malononitrile, and 4-phenylurazole in solvent-free conditions. The turn over frequency (TOF) values of the catalysts are higher than some of the previously reported catalysts.
