Abstract
Deep Anterior lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK) has become the corneal transplantation technique of choice for corneal diseases that spare the corneal endothelium. The major
indications include keratoconus, stromal corneal dystrophies, corneal scars that spare the Descemet membrane (DM) and recalcitrant infectious keratitis.
