Abstract
Phylogenetic relationship and seed morphological characters of 11 species belong to Medicagoid Trigonella, six non Medicagoid and one species of each genera of Medicago and Melilotus were estimated before based on ITS sequences by using Baysian inference and maximum parsimony. In this paper, scanning Electron Microscope and stereomicroscope for seed morphological characters were used. Seed morphology results indicated that majority of Medicagoid Trigonella species belong to Bucerates and Lunatae sections placed in two close subclusters and joined together as did by Baysian analysis results. Both studies confirmed that Medicago radiata is sister for these species. Our results confirm that using molecular and morphological characters data are reliable evidence in systematic discriminations of the taxa.

ارتباط فيلوژنتيكي 11 گونه متعلق به Medicagoid Trigonella و 6 گونه متعلق به Trigonella غير Medicagoid، يك گونه از هر كدام از جنس هاي Medicago و Melilotus با استفاده از توالي منطقه ITS با روش ماكزيمم پارسيموني وبايسين قبلاً انجام شد. در اين مقاله بررسي هاي ريختي دانه توسط ميكروسكوپ الكتروني اسكنينگ و استريوميكروسكوپ انجام گرفت. نتايج بدست آمده از ريخت شناسي دانه با نتايج حاصل از مطالعات ITS همخواني دارد و گونه هاي Medicagoid Trigonella در يك دندروگرام با حمايت بالا قرار گرفته و منوفيلتيك هستند. همچنين نتايج مطالعات مورفولوژي دانه قرار گرفتن گونه هاي بخشه هاي Bucerates وLunatea متعلق به گروه Medicagoid Trigonella در دو زير خوشه نزديك به هم را تاييد مي كند. در هردو مطالعه انجام يافته گونه Medicago radiata به عنوان گروه خواهري گونه هاي مورد مطالعه در نظر گرفته شد. اين نتايج هماهنگي نتايج مورفولوژيكي و مولكولي را در حل اختلافات تاگزونوميكي بيان مي دارد.
