Abstract
Science and technology (S T) cannot develop in the absence of mathematics. The progress of S T in turn depends upon our ability to mathematize problems. Yet every problem which relates to phenomena is situated within the space and time which defines it. In this article, the author examines the reality of space and time from the metaphysical, epistemological and axiological perspective and its relationship with mathematization. The author shows that space and time have unique existences which can be further explained from the metamathematical perspective. If we could know the essence of its unique existence, we could make sense of significant matters relating to mathematics, for examples its educational aspects, its relevance to theology and its particular relationship with science and technology, to the extent of its important role in developing a civilization.
