Abstract
This essay is a reading of Ramlee Awang Mursyid’s novel Cinta Sufi published in 2010. It is an analysis of how the writer preaches religion through literature and influences his readers through his works. Cinta Sufi has been chosen especially because there are preaching elements that are present in it. Preaching generally is an act that is done by individuals to disseminate religious knowledge. This essay discusses how the preaching is conducted. Also not to be left out the effect of preaching on the readers will also be appraised in this analysis. This essay concludes that Ramlee Awang Mursyid’s preaching through his writings brings about a positive effect on his readers
