Abstract
The Pakistan Library Association Golden Jubilee International Conference on Emerging Paradigm of Librarianship: a Call for Innovation was held in November, 2007 at Aiwan-e- Iqbal, Lahore. It has been applauded by participants as an innovative development in the history of librarianship in Pakistan. It was a first-ever international conference in Pakistan with contributions from USA, UK, Singapore, Kuwait, India and Jammu Kashmir. The event was as grand as it should be to commemorate the golden jubilee of PLA.
