  • Abstract
    The research is made for determining the effects of crowded classes according to students’ views. The scale, developed by the researcher, applied to 270 elementary and high school students. Kruskal Wallis Test and Mann Whitney U Test were used for analyzing the data elicited from the measuring instrument. In the study, the effects of the crowded classes on students and the problems experienced by the students are tried to be defined; the profits of their growing at the intended level are also mentioned. In the findings of the research, it is found that crowded classes lead to serious problems on many dimensions: the education atmosphere; class management of the teacher; class hygiene and health; in-class social communication and guiding roles of the teacher. Moreover, some suggestions are put forward concerning the roles of the authorities, schools and the teachers.
