ANALYSIS GAZI UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF EDUCATION MUSIC TEACHING PROGRAMMES’ PIANO STUDENTS’ ANXIETY LEVEL

The aim of research is to give suggestion for determine anxiety level of Gazi University Faculty of Music Teaching Programme piano students’ mid term to final exam process, to reduce or block bad conditions of anxiety. In 2006-2007 academic year, 200 students are studying at Gazi University Gazi Faculty of Education Music Teaching Programme. In this study, 150 students who gets piano lessons obligatory were attached to the research. Results, reached by method of survey. These are major results of study:It is determined that opinion of “the assessments are done by commission is a factor at students success” results high level anxiety. It is determined second class students anxiety leverage points more then other class students.
