ANALYSIS OF STUDY HABITS AND LEARNING STYLES IN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

This study was aimed at investigating the relationship between study habits and learningstyles. The sample consisted of 412 university students.The Study Process Questionnaire andKolb Learning Style Inventory used in this study. Pearson correlation analysis and multiplehierarchical regression analysis were used. The findings showed that the diverging, assimilating,converging, and accommodating learning styles were found to be significantly correlated todeep approach and surface approach subdimensions of study habits and diverging, assimilating,converging, and accommodating learning styles important predictors of deep approach andsurface approach subdimensions of study habits.
