In line with the findings of the study; it can be asserted that prospective teachershave emphasized that they want to make process-based evaluations and, that alternativeassessment tools need to be applied more commonly for them to do so. Based on the answers given, the alternative assessment tools which the prospective teachers plan to use are asfollows; portfolios, self-evaluations and projects. Besides, prospective teachers thought thatthe evaluations made in primary schools are more product-based; are far from such skills asinterpretation, synthesis, evaluation.
