Abstract
The aim of this study, within the framework is to determine the need of group work for students, teachers and parents need. The sample of this study consisted of a total of 662 participants as students (n=369), teachers (n=143) and their parents (n=150) in different primary and secondary schools located in Malatya. As data collection tool in the study were used “School Group Work Needs Analysis” questionnaire forms separately prepared for students, teachers and parents. The statistical analyses for the findings were performed using SPSS 17 for Windows. Chi-square test of independence analysis technique has been used to test whether there is a significant relationship between the variables or not. As a result of the research, teachers’ level of needs for group works for all problem areas were found to be significantly higher than those of parents and students respectively.
